The local roots in true southern style and the brand new Riverside Village community sparked the inspiration for the luxury sporting story for this hotel. The area’s rich history as a destination for golfing, hunting, riding, and other pastimes inspired the materials and palettes. The gunmetal color throughout the hotel was inspired by the nearby Sibley Mill which served as a gunpowder manufacturing plant. We sought to blend the rich history of the area with the anticipation and vision of what this exciting new development would bring to the community. It’s like garden and gun, but with a twist.
